Table 2 Demographic data for Japanese and UK, autistic and non-autistic samples. JP = Japanese culture, UK = British culture. FSIQ = Full-scale IQ; FSIQ was assessed with the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS)-IV [75] in Japanese participants, approximations of FSIQ were derived from Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence (WASI)-II [76] scores in UK participants. Average time in culture is displayed as average proportion of lifetime (years lived in culture divided by age)
